Richmond’s premiere gift basket company, Taylor Made for You, specializes in designing gift baskets for every occasion, event, and holiday.
Taylor made For You was founded in 1988 by Ann Powell and her mother Rachael Dickerson. The company began in the upstairs bedroom of Rachael's home, and was named in honor of Ann's six-month-old son, Taylor.
Now Taylor Made is owned by two Richmond natives, sisters Tammy Johnston and Jill Klinchock, and occupies 3,991 square-feet of showroom and warehouse space in the heart of Midlothian. Taylor Made, twice voted Richmond's Favorite Gift Supply Store, customizes any conceivable gift basket and carries over 2,000 items including gourmet foods, made-in- Virginia products, specialty gift items, wine, and beer.
“I want to bring a lot of happiness to people. I was delivered a gift basket when I left my previous job and I realized how they can make a lot of difference in people’s lives,” says owner Tammy Johnston. Jill and Tammy are taking their vision and are creating a vital and thriving business.
